KARL NEWMAN
Karl is one of the industry’s best-known restauranteurs in the Southwest.  Found at every good party, Karl is the jewel in Outfly’s crown.  From Peru, he was trained as a lawyer, then a pilot, spent a few years travelling the world working and training on some of the best cruise lines. Since arriving in the UK he has successfully opened a number of exceptional venues.

CAROLINE ROWLAND
Caroline’s passion for event management came from spending five years arranging stylish and imaginative events for the hardest crowd to please – the press! After a career in food and luxury PR, Caroline worked freelance on a number of weddings and events and in 2008 after moving to the Cotswolds to start her own event company. After working with Karl and Dean on a number of these events they decided that they could create a more valuable and creative catering and events company so formed Outfly Catering & Events in 2009. They determined that the company would one that could offer its clients the services and contacts that are only seen in London, together with the very best of the local area.

Caroline did a first degree in psychology and understands the need to listen to clients carefully in order to offer very individual options. She also has a wealth of experience in floral arrangement, fashion and creative cookery. She will make absolutely sure that every event and wedding is organised flawlessly and that you will find the planning exciting and enjoyable.

DEAN SIMPSON
Dean worked alongside Karl for a number of years, winning all the regional cocktail competitions before heading off to the bright lights of London in 2008 to work with some of the best mixologists (IPB, Theme & Class bartenders alike at the 2008 Time out Bar of the Year).
